Android automation for apps, devices and repetitive mobile tasks
Some work only happens inside Android apps — no website, no API. We automate those apps on real Android devices: tapping, typing, scrolling and reading the screen, the same way a person would, but reliably and without getting tired. It works for app testing and for day-to-day business tasks.
What we can automate for you
App test automation
Automated UI tests for your own Android app with Appium or UIAutomator2.
Repetitive in-app tasks
Automate data entry, uploads and routine actions inside apps that have no web version.
Multi-device control
Run the same workflow on several connected phones at once and collect the results.
Device setup & provisioning
Install apps, change settings and prepare many devices the same way.
Screen reading & checks
Read values from the screen and react to them — with image recognition when the UI has no accessible text.
What you get
- Automation that runs on your Android phones or tablets over USB or Wi-Fi
- A control script or small desktop app to start, stop and monitor runs
- Logs, screenshots on errors and retry logic
- Works without root where the task allows it
- Documentation and support when the app updates

Frequently asked questions
Can you automate an Android app without root?
In most cases, yes. ADB, UIAutomator2 and Appium work on normal, non-rooted devices. We tell you up front if a specific task truly needs more access.
Appium or UIAutomator2 — which do you use?
It depends on the job. Appium is great for cross-platform test suites; UIAutomator2 (often through Python) is lighter and faster for Android-only automation. We pick what fits your case.
Real devices or emulators?
Both work. Real devices behave exactly like your users' phones; emulators are better when you need many isolated copies in parallel — see our Android emulator automation service.
What happens when the app updates?
App updates can move buttons or rename screens. We build the automation to fail clearly when that happens and we update it as part of support.
Often combined with
Android Emulator Automation
Emulator-based automation for parallel testing and workflows that need many isolated, disposable Android instances.
